Ubisoft has announced Rainbow Six Siege, the next entry into the Rainbow Six series confirming the cancellation of Rainbow Six: Patriots.

Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, the demo showcased a 5v5 setup of a house hostage rescue with incredible graphics and destruction plus a huge focus on co-op play. The game uses the proprietary RealBlast Engine which incorporates procedural destruction that is realistic and unscripted – players have the control create access points giving the ability to modify level design.

Rainbow Six: Siege releases on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC platforms in 2015. You can check out the gameplay footage below.
