NIS America has announced that PlayStation Vita title Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy will be making its way to the west, and will be releasing on the 14th of April in North America and the 17th of April in Europe as both a physical and digital release.
Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy is a sci-fi dungeon crawler RPG from the developers of Demon Gaze. The game is set in a near future Tokyo, and places players in a struggle for survival as the city remains under constant threat of Variants – genetically engineered monsters – and the emergence of portals leading to a dimension known as the Abyss. The government has established the Code Physics Agency to investigate the phenomena, and the Xth Squad – a group of teens modified by the CPA’s Code technology – must evade traps, face down powerful monsters, and investigate the mystery behind the Abyss.
The game features a robust customization system, allowing players to recruit and train a unique group of six Xth members to use in their dungeon crawling adventures.
The game is also PlayStation TV compatible for those of you that have one sitting at home. Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy will be available on the PlayStation Vita and PlayStation TV on the 17th of April.
