Netflix has announced they will launch in Australia and New Zealand on the 24th of March.

Also announced was a partnership with DSL provider iiNet to provide unmetered access to stream Netflix content.

“Many Aussies and Kiwis have heard a lot about Netflix over the years, and we’re excited they’ll get to experience our unique blend of Netflix original content, local series and films, and popular movies and TV shows from around the world, all for a low monthly price,” said Reed Hastings, Netflix co-founder and chief executive officer.

The service will be compatible with all the current gaming consoles including the Wii U as well as Smart TVs, Apple TV, Google Chromecast and smartphones/tablets.

A list of available content and pricing have yet to be announced.
