Guitar Hero is making a comeback in the form of Guitar Hero Live, a game that brings a new perspective to the series. The new game, set to release later in 2015, will put players in the shoes of a rockstar with a first person camera, as well as introducing crowds who will react to your performance in real time.

The game will also feature ‘GH TV’ mode, allowing you to play along to a wide range of music videos (instead of the live perspective), as well as challenge friends and online players in multiplayer.

Guitar Hero live will bring a new controller to the game, ditching the coloured buttons for six smaller buttons at the top of the guitar’s neck, shown below.

Guitar Hero Live is set for release towards the end of 2015 on Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Wii U, with smartphone versions planned as well. You can check out the reveal trailer below!
