During EA’s 2015 Gamescom press conference FIFA 16 was shown off in great detail, with a major new mode introduced for those that play Ultimate Team dubbed Ultimate Team Draft.

FIFA 16 Ultimate Team Draft has players build a team of some of the best talent across the world by selecting five suggested options at every step of creation. From the formation, to the defence and so on, each position will have five options to choose from and will include big names such as Harry Kane, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, David Alaba, and Arjen Robben just to name a few.

Upon choosing a team, you’re then thrust into tournaments to earn coins for your other Ultimate Team modes. Win four games in a row and you’ll be rewarded handsomely, but the players you’ll face will all have teams comprised of some of the best talent in the world.  It’s a great way to involve those who don’t like the grind of paying/playing to get the best players in their team like in previous iterations of Ultimate Team and to have them compete on an even playing field.

FIFA 16 launches on the 24th of September on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
