Virtus.Pro has taken out the Crown CSGO $55K Invitational

Virtus.Pro has taken out the Crown Casino Counter-Strike Global Offensive $55,555 Invitational hosted by ESL Australia in Melbourne.

After upsetting Cloud9 on Friday, Team Immunity were up against Polish heavyweights Virtus.Pro in the finals. With everything looking very one-sided at the start of the first round, Team Immunity made their way back showing the visitors local Australian CSGO talent. Despite their effort, Immunity couldn’t overtake Virtus.Pro going down 2-0.

Virtus.Pro took home a total of $35,000 Grand Prize. The final was broadcast on Fox Sports 1 making it the first time Counter-Strike was feature on live TV here in Australia. Let’s hope we see more in the future.
