The newly formed Hellions Esports Club has announced they will be operating a gaming house for their team in the lead up to the League of Legends 2016 Oceanic Pro League season. They are currently the only pro team operating a gaming house in Oceania, which will house all five team members and their coach. The team has also recently confirmed three of its final five members, with Ryoo playing top, Frae as ADC & Tgun as support.
The gaming house, located in Sydney, will be in operation from December 1st. With an NBN connection and close proximity to Riot Games’ Sydney HQ, the team hopes this house will allow them to not only grow and improve as a team, but also give them the opportunity to stream and build a local community and fanbase.
“We want to take things very seriously, a gaming house accomplishes this by giving players and the organisation more responsibility,” explained Ryoo. “Once others see how we operate it will definitely boost our legitimacy as a new organisation”.
Hellions Esports Club was started by Tae-hyung ‘Ryoo’ Ryoo and Bradley ‘Tgun’ Seymour, ex-Team Immunity players who left following the organisation’s recent ban, in conjunction with general manager Michael Choo. The coach and final two members of their roster are set to be announced at a later date.
