AMD has launched their new Radeon RX 480 graphics card which was revealed back at CES. The new cards come in 4GB and 8GB variants with models starting from $329 AUD here in Australia ($369 NZD for our Kiwi readers)

With NVIDIA’s new graphics options ranging from $800-1200 AUD, the RX 480 comes at a great price-point for the mainstream market offering great 1080p performance. It also offers the lower-price point for graphics when it comes to VR ready graphics card.

For now the reference models Radeon RX 480 is only available but ASUS and Sapphire has shown off their aftermarket versions (pictured below) coming in the near future:
