Twitch has introduced a new feature called ‘Cheering’ where you can show your support and appreciation to your favourite broadcasters.

It works by simply typing ‘cheer’ followed by a number like ‘cheer100’ or ‘cheer30’. Cheering requires Bits which are “evolving animated emotes that you can buy.”

Cheering provides another revenue opportunity for a streamer which isn’t a bad thing especially if you want to show your support. Here’s a video on how the feature works:

Cheering has launched today in beta to selected streamers only however so not everyone can be cheered just yet. If you want to read more about Cheering, head to the Twitch blog here.
