Blizzard and Facebook teams up to allow players to directly share their gameplay experiences on the social media platform coming later this month.

The new Facebook integration allows players to login to Battle Net accounts using their Facebook logins. Blizzard is also taking advantage of the platform with a new feature called ‘Go Live’ where players can actually stream their games directly to their Facebook timelines. Friends can also subscribe and be notified when streams are up.

“Blizzard games are best when played with friends, so it’s important to us to provide our players with features and services that make it easy and fun to share their experiences with each other,” said Gio Hunt, executive vice president of corporate operations at Blizzard Entertainment. “We’re working closely with Facebook on this integration for Overwatch, as well as our other games, and we look forward to sharing further details on our plans as development progresses.”

Blizzard is currently in the progress of adding this ‘Go Live’ functionality which will come at a later date. With current Facebook users allowed to stream and share their experiences with their friends – it’s not surprising to see a gaming company jump on the bandwagon.
