Sony’s CEO, Andrew House has confirmed the existence of the PlayStation 4.5 codenamed ‘Neo’ via an interview with Financial Times.

Andrew has confirmed the “high-end PS4” would be more expensive than the current $350 version which is “intended to sit alongside and complement the standard’ PS4 and “will be selling both [versions] through the life cycle.” The new PS4 has also been confirmed a no-show at E3 2016 next week as Andrew has stated “ensure we have a full range of the best experiences on the new system that we can showcase in their entirety,”

Andrew has also stated the all PS4 games will remain compatible on both consoles and “all or a very large majority of games” to be optimised for the new PS4. No other news like naming or pricing for the new PS4 has been revealed.

So nothing from PlayStation side this year, will the people at Microsoft drop something after rumours of them making a new revised console?
