Ubisoft announces first Rainbow Six Siege Australian Tournament

Ubisoft Australia has announced the very first Australian tournament for Rainbow Six Siege hosted by ESL Australia.

After recent success in Europe and US, Australian players will finally have the chance to complete for the $1,000 AUD prize pool. The tournament will run across two platforms: PC and Xbox One. Competition begins this month with double eliminations brackets.

Here’s the format:

Open Cup #1 – July 17

Teams will compete in an Open Double Elimination Bracket

Open Cup #2 – July 24

Teams will compete in an Open Double Elimination Bracket

Open Cup #3 – August 7

Teams will compete in an Open Double Elimination Bracket

Open Cup #4 (Final) – August 21

Teams will compete in an Open, four team per group, group stage. The top two teams from each group will then progress through to a Single Elimination bracket.
