Alienware Live gaming lounge opens in Sydney, free to public this weekend
Alienware Live, a brand new gaming lounge has opened up in Chatswood, Sydney which features over 28 high-end PCs and two VR setups for the public to enjoy.
The venue which has been opened in conjunction with City Hunter allows people to come experience the full range of Alienware products available and play their favourite LAN titles in a social environment.
Last night, I was lucky enough to check out the space before it opened to the public today. The venue was redesigned and features some unique experiences that you won’t find at other internet cafés. The first being the VR setups where the public can try virtual-reality first hand. There’s also triple monitor setups with three curved Dell monitors to provide a unique experience you might not be able to try at home.
The venue will also play host to future community meet ups and tournaments.
“Community has always been at the centre of what we do at Alienware, so we can’t wait to share the Alienware Live AU space with our Aussie fans,” said Ben Jackson, General Manager, Consumer and Small Business.
City Hunter’s co-founder Jun Zhong also mentioned “At its core City Hunter is all about community and we couldn’t think of a better way to deliver a premium gaming experience to our fans than partnering with Alienware to bring Alienware Live AU to life. A lot of planning has gone into Alienware Live AU, with every little detail worked to ensure we’ve built a space that we ourselves would want to play in.”
If you want to check out the new space, it will be free to access from August 19th – 21st – for more information you can visit the City Hunter website. Booking is definitely essential.
