Kristian Trajceski wins 2016 PS4 Player Pathway Award

PlayStation Australia have announced the winner of the inaugural PS4 Player Pathway Award, Kristian Trajceski of Hume City FC, who is now set to commence a two-week trial with Sydney FC’s youth team.

Having picked 24 of Australia’s best young PS4 National Premier League footballers, a judging panel consisting of ex-Socceroos Ante Milicic, John Kosmina, and Craig Foster, alongside Sydney FC Youth League Head Coach Rob Stanton, watched over the players, who engaged in two days of intense on-field and off-field testing.

The winner, 17-year-old Kristian Trajceski of Victoria’s Hume City FC, will now see himself with an opportunity to launch his pro football career through a two-week trial with Sydney FC’s youth team, commencing in October.

The PS4 Player Pathway Award, which grants Trajceski the opportunity to kickstart his pro career, has been a season-long search to find the most talented young footballers in the country, in turn providing one of them with an opportunity outside of the existing football pathways already in place.
