World of Tanks Blitz gets a selection of new light tanks and a map in update 3.1
Wargaming has announced that World of Tanks Blitz’s latest update, 3.1, will oversee the addition of three Soviet light tanks and a new map.
The three new tanks will be included in the Tech Tree, and are the MT-25, LTTB, and T-45 Itwt. The MT-25 “gives you three guns to choose from, so don’t be afraid to mix it up depending on your shooting preference.” As for the LTTB, it’s “like, all light tanks, rapid, so you can perfect your drifting turns around the map and leave vehicles like the Spähpanzer SP I C in the dust.” Lastly, the T-54 Itwt “is a nice twist on the T-54. While he’s not the quickest out there, this T-54 has admirable armour and can handle better at higher speeds than the Ru 251 or LTTB.”
The newest map, called Yamato Harbor, “takes place in a large industrial port arena, where you can watch the sun rise and glint off one of Japan’s most iconic vessels.” For World of Warships players, there may just be a recognisable vessel moored at the dockyard, too.
Finally, Wargaming has also announced that there will be regular clan tournaments designed to keep teams occupied and working to take their game up a notch or two.
Update 3.1 is available now. World of Tanks Blitz is available to play for free on smartphones, tablets, Windows 10 devices, and Mac OS X.
