Microsoft has partnered with HP, Dell, Lenovo, Asus, and Acer for Windows 10 VR

Microsoft has announced that they’ve partnered with HP, Dell, Lenovo, Asus, and Acer to bring an affordable Virtual Reality headset to Windows 10 next year.

Starting from $299 USD, the headsets will feature six-degree-of-freedom tracking system which doesn’t require external cameras to detect the tracking. The headset is also compatible with the Windows 10 Creators Update which allows users to create, edit and print in 3D. They have also mentioned the headsets will work on affordable laptops and PCs.

Not much other information has been revealed but with Microsoft entering the VR game at a low price point is quite interesting and we can’t wait to see what they do in this space.
