Throwdown Rocket League OCE Championship announced with $20K AUD Prize Pool

Throwdown Esports to host officially sanctioned RLCS event

Throwdown Esports, the esports division of Showdown has been announced as the company to host the officially sanctioned Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) event for Oceania.

In February, Psyonix has announced that Oceania was included in Season Three of RLCS with a spot for our region at the World Championship in June. The Throwdown Rocket League OCE Championship will see local teams compete for a prize pool of AUD $20,000 and a spot a worlds.

Registration begins this Sunday, March 19 at 10am AEDT until Sunday, March 26 at 11:59pm AEDT. Competition will kick off in April. Teams can register on Throwdown’s Website right now.
