Blizzard has released details on the upcoming Overwatch World Cup Group Stage taking place in Sydney, Australia on July 21-23, 2017. After being revealed that a group stage will be hosted in Australia, countries from Group C and D will fly to Sydney, Australia to compete for the two available spots in the finals at the upcoming BlizzCon in Anaheim, California.

Hosted at The Star Event Centre, Australia who is ranked 13th in the pool of 32 nations will fight it out against group favourites Sweden, Italy and Portugal in Group C. The event will also see Finland, Japan, Spain and Vietnam compete in Group D. The groups will be play a round-robin with the top two teams from each group advancing to a single-elimination playoff.

Ticket pre-sale registration is now live, with additional places being made available through Ticketek on 20 June. Each pass will be priced at $60 AUD plus booking fee, which will provide access to all three days of the tournament.
