CWL APAC Last Chance Qualifiers Kicks Off This Weekend

16 teams will compete for two CWL spots in Melbourne

The Call of Duty World League Championship or CWL APAC Last Chance Qualifier is kicking off at the Crown Exhibition Hall in Melbourne this weekend (July 8-9, 2017) – this is the final LAN event for APAC teams to secure the two spots available at the Call of Duty World League Championship 2017.

Tainted Minds and Mindfreak.Black are among the 16 teams locally to compete in this LAN for a spot joining already qualifier APAC team Mindfreak at the World League.

With lots of movements within the scene such as ex-Tainted Mind’s Zeuss moving into TabooESC and ex-MindFreak player Excite joining Tainted Minds, the competition this weekend will be hard to predict. At the last CWL APAC LAN, Mindfreak.Black (ex Oracle Esports roster) came 2nd who are hot favourites to take one of the spot at Worlds.

The Call of Duty World League Championship 2017 takes place 9-13the August at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. The event will see 32 teams compete for the $1.5 million prize pool.
