Announcing Season One for Weekend Warriors – Respawn Ninja’s competitive community PUBG tournaments. We return bigger and better for 2018 teaming up with Viewsonic with more loot up for grabs promoting an open competitive level for solo PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
PLAY TO WIN
The format for Weekend Warriors will remain the same – we’ll have the same three custom matches every Saturday but we’ll be adding a leader board system into the mix. After every match, we’ll be distributing points based on placing + scoring. Even though we’re introducing a point based system, we’re keeping the matches open meaning anyone can play and prove their PUBG skills on a competitive level.
Here’s how the scoring system works:
- 1st place: 10 Points + 1 Point Per Kill
- 2nd – 5th Place: 5 Points + 1 Point Per Kill
- 6th-20th Place: 2 Points + 1 Point Per Kill
- 21st Place onward: No Points accrued regardless of kills
Each season of Weekend Warriors will be running for six (6) weeks and the end of each season – the highest scoring player will win the ultimate prize.
