The Last of Us Remastered officially revealed by Sony

The Last of Us Remastered has been officially announced by Sony after the banner leak we saw yesterday. The Remastered version will see visual upgrades to the game such as a 1080p resolution and upgraded character/setting models. Also included will be exclusive director’s commentary for all in-game cinematics by Creative Director and Writer plus the people behind the voice of Joel and Ellie.

The Remastered Edition will also include post release content:

  • Left Behind single player expansion
  • Abandoned Territories multiplayer map pack
  • Reclaimed Territories pack – details will be coming soon on exactly what is included

The Last of Us Remastered Edition for the PlayStation 4 is due for release in Winter for Australia so that’s like June to September. You can pre-order from retailers to take advantage of the in-game bonuses listed below:

  • 100 Supply Points (XP) for use in Factions mode
  • Two special bonus skins for Joel and Ellie which will be unlocked after your complete the single player campaign
  • Increased Crafting Speed for use in the Single Player Campaign
  • Increased Healing Speed for use in the Single Player Campaign
  • 9mm Reload Speed Increase Upgrade for use in the Single Player Campaign
  • Rifle Clip Capacity Increase Upgrade for use in the Single Player Campaign
