D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die, the episodic title from Access Games, will be making its way to PC.
Announced by director Hidetaka “Swery” Suehiro, an experimental version of the game made on the PC for a GDC presentation was the catalyst for a full release on the platform. “The catalyst for this port was the presentation I did at GDC, where we made a PC version experimentally to demonstrate the point that we could provide emotional immersion and recreate human sensations even without Kinect on hand and it was designed to be playable with nothing but a mouse,” Swery told Famitsu.
April was mainly consisted of clearing out bugs on the PC version of the game for the team, so it looks like the game isn’t too far away.
A solid release date for the PC version of D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die has not been announced. You can check out our review of the game here.
