National Women’s Teams Introduced in FIFA 16

In quite a big announcement, EA Sports have revealed that they will be including national female teams, as well as female players in FIFA 16. The new additions don’t end at the teams alone, with the developers adding new body types, facial animations and conducting motion capture on real female players.

Twelve national teams are being included in the release version of the game; Germany, USA, France, Sweden, England, Brazil, Canada, Australia, Spain, China, Italy and Mexico. The game also features well known female players like Christine Sinclair, Alex Morgan, and Stephanie Houghton.

This is definitely an exciting move from EA Sports, and one that’s sure to make more than a few fans of the game and sport happy. FIFA 16 is releasing in September on Playstation 3 and 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, with even more information set to be revealed at E3 2015.
