Activision and Treyarch today confirmed that the next iteration of Call of Duty — Black Ops 3 — will also be making its way to last-gen platforms as well as PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Developers Beenox and Mercenary Technology will be working on the last-gen ports of the game.

Within the blog post found on Activision’s game blog, the statement read “Xbox 360 and PS3 players will be able to experience Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s gameplay across campaign, multiplayer and zombies. While the teams are working to deliver the best possible experience for Xbox 360 and PS3, naturally there will be some differences across generations. We’ll be sharing more information regarding feature differences from one console generation to another later this year as launch on November 6 approaches. Also, it should be noted that there’s no version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 for Nintendo Wii U planned.” You can read the full blog post here.

The post also confirmed that the upcoming multiplayer beta will be only available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 launches on November 6th on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
