During the Oculus pre-E3 conference last night, a new partnership was formed between the Virtual Reality company and Microsoft Xbox.

“We’re thrilled to be working closely with the team at Oculus. Their groundbreaking work in virtual reality is inspiring, and the Oculus Rift delivers a truly next-generation VR experience,” said Spencer. “We at Xbox are passionate about giving gamers the opportunity to play when and where they want. I can’t wait to see the incredible games created for the Rift, and we are proud to be part of the experience.”

Here’s what came out of that agreement:

The Xbox One controller will be included with every Oculus Rift – supporting Windows 10 natively, the controller is bundled with the new Xbox Wireless adapter so it will be wirelessly out of the box.

You can play Xbox One games on the Oculus Rift – ever wanted your own theatre environment where you can play your games in peace? Well the Oculus Rift will be able to stream your Xbox One games.

The Oculus Rift will work natively with Windows 10 – working natively with the new operating system, it will make setting up and jumping in easier than ever. With Direct12 technology – Microsoft ‘promises’ Windows 10 will have the fastest frame rate and performance.

The Oculus Rift is due out Q1 2016. Not specific release date or pricing has been confirmed.
