Scott Mitchell, Art Director working on the upcoming Rainbow Six Siege has confirmed via WhatCulture during a EGX 2015 panel that the game won’t have a story mode.
“There is no story mode per se. You go through training, where you get to experience different operators and their devices. You can play against enemy AI in co-op through all the maps. You can customise matches, so that’s what we’re offering on the single-player side of things”
Ubisoft hasn’t really came out with any details on the single-player side of things prior to this but many were expecting one when Angela Bassett was announced that she’ll play a role in the game during E3 2015. Is she still involved? Was the campaign scrapped?
So with Rainbow Six Siege going multi-player only offering 11 maps and both the competitive multiplayer and co-op Terror Hunt mode – will this be enough to keep followers interested? Let us know.
