Geoff Keighley’s The Game Awards have just concluded for another year, and this year’s event has been quite easily the best yet with a handful of great premieres, musical performances, and awards handed out. There were less awkward moments, too, which is always a major plus. Here are all of the world premieres that were shown off throughout the night.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
A quick snippet of a new character in Uncharted 4 was shown off. Expect more during PlayStation Experience in a few days time.

Far Cry Primal
The first snippet of the upcoming prehistoric Far Cry game was showcased, and it looks pretty damn cool. It’ll be interesting to see how Far Cry copes without its tried-and-true firearms, but the ability to control various animals throughout the landscape and have them attack enemies for you seems a solid way of changing things up.

Psychonauts 2
Perhaps the biggest surprise of the night was the return of Psychonauts, as Double Fine announced a sequel was in the works. The catch is, the team need to raise $3.3 million. If you want the game to become reality, back the game here.

Quantum Break
Remedy’s upcoming action-adventure debuted a small snippet of new footage before its April release. Not much was given away, but expect to hear more as we head into 2016.

Rock Band VR
The big Oculus announcement is Rock Band VR. Harmonix have been working with Oculus for quite some time and have come up with a new way to throw you into the band experience. Think Guitar Hero Live minus the full motion video and (at times) brutal crowd.

Shadow Complex Remastered
It leaked a few days ago, but Shadow Complex Remastered is a real thing. It’s so real, in fact, that you can download it now on PC for free for the entirety of the holidays. The game’s set to release on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 early next year.

Batman: A Telltale Games Series
Another big surprise was a new Telltale Games series focusing on the caped crusader. It’s regulatory for Telltale to announce their new projects at the VGA’s, and a Batman game slated for 2016 is certainly one that should peak the interest of DC fans.

Rocket League
Rocket League’s finally making its way to Xbox One, complete with a Halo “Hogsticker” (a homage to the Warthog) and an Armadillo from Gears of War. It’s slated for a February 2016 release.

Star Citizen
More Star Citizen was shown off, as the game has now entered Alpha 2.0. Still no release, but it’s certainly the most I’ve ever seen of the game in a trailer. Things are finally starting to move towards release for the massive project!

The Walking Dead: Michonne
To wrap things up, Telltale revealed the first trailer for their upcoming The Walking Dead mini-series focusing on Michonne. The first episode is slated for a February 2016 release.

That’s it for 2015’s The Game Awards. It’s always good to see such a strong community of people come together to celebrate something as special as video games, and here’s to hoping this is a prelude for an excellent 2016.
