Computex 2016 wrapped up last week and we’ve sseen many cool new products coming from different companies. Corsair returned this year pushing their living room gaming space plus a brand-new mechanical keyboard featuring a brand new Cherry MX switch.
Let’s have a closer look at what was revealed:
Corsair Rapidfire Keyboard
Another mechanical keyboard you say? Well the new Corsair Rapidfire range features new Cherry switches called the Speed Key which are exclusive to their company at the moment. The new switches have a 1.2mm actuation point for faster response compared to the 2mm normal Cherrys.
Revealed in Computex 2015, the Corsair Bulldog is a PC designed for the living room. The unit fits the latest graphics card like the GTX 1080 so expect some quality 4K gaming.
The Corsair Bulldog is coming out soon. Can’t wait to see what kind of hardware people pack into this.
The perfect companion to the Corsair Bulldog, the Lapdog allows you to slap in a tenkeyless K65 or K70 keyboard for some couch gameplay. The unit features a memory foam on the bottom for comfort and supports a gaming mouse with a 11 x 11 mouse pad on the side.
Available now for $159 AUD. Look out for our review on this soon!
Dominator Platinum SE/Vengeance LED
Corsair has revealed a brand new range of RAM memory modules with a limited edition Dominator Platinum SE that’s so limited – only 500 of each kit made. Both the Platinum SE and Vengeance LED feature lighting that doesn’t require any external power source. The Dominator Platinum SE will only be available via Corsair.com soon.
Corsair has pretty much let the dogs out at Computex 2016 showcasing their canine inspired range. With VR and living room gaming becoming a thing with PC, it’s pretty good to see companies like Corsair supporting that market with specially made peripherals. Look out soon for our review on the Corsair Lapdog as we give it a spin.
