Elgato, the creators of the popular Game Capture range has revealed a brand new product called the Stream Deck to help streamline and create a more professional experience for streamers and content creators.
The Elgato Stream Deck is compact and is connected via a USB 2.0 cable. It features 15 LCD keys where streamers can launch up to 210 actions grouped into folders. You can switch scenes with the press of a button, adjust media and even interact with the audience without setting up macros on your keyboard.
“We revolutionized gameplay sharing with Game Capture HD and now we’re taking live content creation to the next level with Stream Deck,” said Julian Fest, General Manager Elgato Gaming. “It provides streamers with a level of control that used to be exclusive to mainstream entertainment broadcasters.”
The Elgato Stream Deck will cost $149 USD and will release in May 2017. Australian pricing have yet to be announced.
Update: The Elgato Stream Deck will cost $199 AUD and releases on the 24th April 2017.
