The return of  CyberGamer Premier League (CGPL) has been announced for 2017. There is a $20,000AUD prize pool for the Autumn season of CGPL. To make up for the year without CGPL events they will be also inviting the top two teams from each CGPL season to the CGPL Championships in November. The two main titles that CGPL will be focusing on is CS:GO for PC and CoD:IW for PS4. The event will kick off early February and finish at the CyberGamer Studio live on the 7th -9th April.

The new season of CGPL will feature the teams; Trident Esports, Team Cypher, Avant Gaming, Chief Esports, SYF Gaming, Legacy Esports, Team Immunity and Animal Squad.

CyberGamer have also announced that eight teams will be battling it out each week for a spot at the CGPL LAN finals which also runs alongside CyberGamers 10th birthday and the unveiling for the CG Studio.
