Telltale Games and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced that Batman – The Telltale Series, their ongoing episodic series revolving around Batman and Bruce Wayne, will be available to buy in retail stores from this week.
The retail edition of the game, which is called a “Season Pass Disc,” gives you access to all five episodes of the game as they become available for download via online updates.
The game’s first episode, Realm of Shadows, is currently the only episode available to play, however the series’ second episode, Children of Arkham, will be available from the 20th of September for console and PC.
“Since premiering Batman – The Telltale Series last month, we’ve been thrilled by the reception from both Batman fans new to Telltale, and those already familiar with our model for interactive storytelling,” Kevin Bruner, CEO and Co-Founder of Telltale Games, said.
The retail disc for Batman will be $29.99 USD in North America and is available now to buy at retail, with a European retail release said to be available beginning from September 16.
The Season Pass Disc will be available for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
