Valve has announced they’ve introduced a brand new map called Canals to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive plus a visual upgrade to the Phoenix terrorist model and a new case.
Set in a historic Italian city, SEAL Team 6 has been deployed to stop the terrorist group known as Phoenix attacking two important tourist attraction.
The map is based on real-world environments that give each area its own architectural style as well as gameplay, and produce an unconventional layout. The CT side is composed of a large, wide open area while the T-controlled territory forms a crescent of smaller spaces around it and provides multiple approaches to each bomb site.
Similar to the visual upgrades done with the SAS, Valve has revealed a brand new skin for the Phoenix Terrorist player model. Valve has also revealed a new ‘Spectrum’ case which features 17 brand new community-designed skins. Check out more screenshots and details here.
