Check out 13 minutes of gameplay from Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture

The Chinese Room, known for their work on Dear Esther and Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, has released a solid chunk of gameplay from its upcoming title Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture.

The footage is from pre-beta code and has running commentary from Creative Director Dan Pinchbeck and Studio Head and Composer Jessica Curry.

Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture is based around six characters and their own stories, each connected to landmarks in the world that evolve as the game progresses. The game takes place in Shropshire during the apocalypse, and is a spiritual successor to Dear Esther.

Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture is set to release exclusively on the PlayStation 4 sometime this year.
