Microsoft has announced at the Game Developers Conference that Cross-Network Play will be coming to Xbox One and Windows 10. Which will allow players on both platforms to with players on different online multiplayer networks – including other console and PC networks.
The Cross-Network feature will be up to the developers if they want to enable it and one of the first games announced with this feature is Psyonix’s Rocket League. Players will still have the option of choosing to play only with other Xbox Live players, just in case they don’t want to mingle with other side.
