Disney have announced Disney Infinity 3.0, the next in their series of Infinity titles, alongside new play sets and figures featuring Star Wars and Tron characters. For the first time you’ll be able to explore iconic Star Wars worlds like Hoth and Endor with classic Disney and Marvel characters.
There are currently three Star Wars play sets planned, one taking place during the prequel trilogy, one set during the original trilogy and one to tie in with The Force Awakens, releasing after the game itself. The game will be compatible with all previous figures and sets from 1.0 and 2.0, as well as new planned sets from Avengers 2, Inside Out and Tron.
Disney Infinity 3.0 will launch on Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, iOS and Android later this year, alongside the first two Star Wars play sets. More play sets compatible with the title are set to be revealed soon.
