ESL has announced that the company will partner with Australian Cyber League or ACLPro to strengthen esports in the Oceanic region.
““We’re a truly global company that saw a successful expansion into North America last year, having previously established ourselves in Europe and Asia. Today, we’re happy to announce that we will now also be focusing on the Oceanic region,” said Sebastian Weishaar, Senior Vice President International Business at ESL.
ACLPro is a well established company within the local esports scene and has been involved with several companies such as Activision and Riot Games. Yesterday, ESL Australia and Crown Casino in Melbourne have teamed up to create a $55,555 CS:GO Tournament with two big teams: Cloud9 and Virtus.pro being invited to play.
