PAX Australia is on again this weekend and will play host to a few big tournaments esports fans should check out. If you’re a fan of Counter-Strike, the ESL Australia Season 2 finals sponsored by St. George Bank will be on during the show as the top teams from AU/NZ such as Athletico and Parralax fight for the top prize.

Competitive Rocket League always pulls a crowd and at this year’s PAX Australia, you can witness the best teams from our scene competing for a prize pool of $5,000 USD hosted by Psyonix. Riot Games has also got involved this year at PAX by hosting a few panels which you should check out. ESL AU & NZ Championships: CSGO Finals


November 5th& 6th, PAX Arena Stage

ESL will host the finals for the CS:GO AU & NZ Championships at PAX Australia 2016 this weekend where the best teams from our region compete for the prize pool of $20,000 AUD. The grand final will be live-streamed as well


Rocket League Tournament by Psyonix


November 4th, PAX Arena Stage

This weekend will see for the very first time, a Psyonix sponsored Rocket League tournament in Oceania with a prize pool of $5K USD. The tournament will be hosted by ESL at the PAX Arena Stage on Friday, November 4th from 10am to 2PM AEDT.


Riot Games at PAX Aus 2016


Despite not being on the show floor again this year, Riot Games will be hosting some very interesting panels about esports. The company behind League of Legends will be discussing about getting into the scene with panels focusing on things such as becoming a pro player or caster as well as life behind the scenes at Riot with notable figures from the scene. These panels are great if you want to know more about the world of esports from the right people.
