During the E3 2015 Bethesda Conference, the release date for Fallout 4 was announced plus a whole bunch of new details.
Fallout 4 is scheduled for release on the 10th November 2015. Some details of the plot was also revealed as well as a Collector’s Pip-Boy Edition (check it out here).
“As the sole survivor of Vault 111, you enter a world destroyed by nuclear war. Every second is a fight for survival, and every choice is yours. Only you can rebuild and determine the fate of the Wasteland. Welcome home.”
Set in post-apocalyptic Boston, Fallout 4 will feature all-new next generation visuals and lighting and from the trailers we saw – it looks very detailed and atmospheric than ever before.
The trusty Pip-boy has also been upgraded and is rather more dynamic (and awesome) than before. The companion app for Fallout 4 has also been revealed where you can use your own smartphone as a Pip-Boy where you can experience a truly immersive 2nd screen experience. Combined that with the wearable Pip-Boy and you have yourself an ultimate Fallout setup.
The game will also feature a lot more customisation than previous titles and introduces a brand new crafting experience. Collect, upgrade and build thousands of items, modify weapons almost endlessly and even create your own post-apocalyptic settlement.
Fallout 4 is shaping up to be an incredible title and has definitely been the highlight of the Bethesda conference. It will ship on November 10th 2015 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
