Square Enix and Eidos Montreal have continued in their celebration of Deus Ex’s 15-year anniversary by authorising a fan-created mod called ‘Revision’, which overhauls the original Deus Ex’s environments and soundtrack, to launch on Steam for free from today.

Creative Director of Caustic Creative, the team behind the mod, said: “Where other projects fill in detail around the edges of the game by tuning gameplay mechanics or improving textures, we focus on the visceral core of the Deus Ex experience, bringing new level design, aesthetic direction, and world-building detail.”

‘Revision’ is available to download now on Steam, and is accompanied by an 80% discount on both Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition and Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut as part of the Steam Stealth Sale, which runs from October 13 to 16.
