When Scarlett Johansson was confirmed to play the lead in the ‘western’ live-action adaptation of Ghost in the Shell, it appears that not many people were happy with the decision.

A petition has appeared asking Dreamworks to drop Scarlett slamming the company for whitewashing Asian characters. The petition has grown over 31,000 signatures strong.
