Square Enix have released a patch for Final Fantasy XV’s demo – Episode Duscae, based on player feedback.
Episode Duscae Version 2.0 comes with a variety of new updates and improvements, of which the most notable are tweaks to the camera targeting systems, additional quests, enhancements to the battle system (with combination techniques) as well as re-balancing and a handful of bug fixes. A more stabilized frame rate and a battle against a new “truly massive” opponent round out the update.
Version 2.0 was influenced by a recently conducted user survey that enabled the developers to understand what they needed to work on after Episode Duscae was released. An update for Final Fantasy Type-0 HD has also been released, which brings adjustments to the camera controls in the game that make the game more comfortable for players.
Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae was released on the 19th of March as part of a pre-order incentive for purchasing Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. You can check out our thoughts on the demo here.
