Ubisoft has officially announced Far Cry Primal, the new title in the Far Cry series taking players back to the stone age where sabretooth tigers and mammoths rule the earth.
Survival is key here as you play Takkar, a hunter part of a tribe where they must kill and craft in order to rise above extinction. Far Cry Primal will feature an open world and a crafting system just like previous titles.
“The interesting thing about Far Cry is that it’s flexible. So when a team proposed to explore the idea of a Far Cry taking place during the Stone Age, we just said ‘let’s hear it!’ And the more we heard about it, the more we realized how much of a damn good idea it actually was,” said Dan Hay, executive producer, Ubisoft.
Far Cry Primal is scheduled for release worldwide on February 23, 2016 on Xbox One and PS4. The PC Version will hit March 2016. The game is being developed by Ubisoft Montréal in collaboration with Ubisoft Toronto, Ubisoft Shanghai Studio and Ubisoft Kiev Studio
