NVIDIA has dropped the announcement for the GeForce GTX 1060 tonight coming to Australia this month for $429 AUD.
The GeForce GTX 1060 will feature the exact same performance as the GTX 980 but only consume 120 watts of power. In Australia, the price point is also on-par with the recently announced AMD Radeon RX 480 making it very competitive. The major difference however is that the RX 480 allows multi-GPU where as the GTX 1060 doesn’t support SLI.
Just like the other Pascal graphics card from NVIDIA, the Founders edition will be available first with 6GB GDDR5 memory, 8Gbps memory speed with 1708MHz Boost Clock.
The GeForce GTX 1060 will be available in Australia from July 19th.
