Ninja Theory’s latest (eleventh) developer diary goes in depth about how the team has been working on creating a vertical slice of the game for journalists to try out at Pre-E3 meetings and during E3 itself.

The team aren’t new at creating vertical slices, with their previous titles Heavenly Sword and DmC: Devil May Cry both having demoes at E3 prior to releasing. Hellblade is different in the fact that the game’s being developed on an indie budget and the team’s trying to craft a AAA game out of it, so there are more caveats to fall into if something goes wrong.

Hellblade’s full gameplay reveal will be on June 10, so be sure to keep an eye out for that. The game will be releasing on PlayStation 4 and PC sometime down the track.
