Homefront: The Revolution is not dead with the game re-appearing during the Microsoft Gamescom 2015 briefing.
The game pretty much dissapeared again when Crytek had internal issues selling the IP to Deep Silver which was previously owned by THQ.
The new trailer called ‘Thank You’ showcases a greater focus on co-op where players will learn the art of guerilla warfare and use ambush tactics in it’s open world environment.
The game is still running on the CryEngine with Deep Silver’s English Dambuster Studios (ex-Crytek UK) developing the game.
Homefront: The Revolution is slated for a 2016 launch on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Watch the trailer below:
