For the first time ever, the Intel Extreme Masters or IEM is coming down under to Sydney Australia in Season 12. IEM Sydney will see world-class Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams compete live at the Sydney Qudos Bank Arena on May 6 and 7, for a massive $260,000 AUD prize pool.

SK Gaming, a heavyweight Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team from Brazil have been invited to compete alongside home-grown Renegades who are regarded one of the best teams to come out of Australia & New Zealand. There will be up to six international teams invited with four more to be announced at a later date. The event will also feature on-site fan experiences like player signing sessions, giveaways, as well as Meet & Greet opportunities for players and fans.
