Intel has launched their non-K Skylake processors which is available from today in Australia. The non-K processors are the mainstream models for the new Skylake series which targets non-overclockers and standard users. There are currently four models available of the new non-K Skylake processors with market average pricing:
- Intel Core i7 6700 – $499 AUD
- Intel Core i5 6600 – $335 AUD
- Intel Core i5 6500 – $299 AUD
- Intel Core i5 6400 – $279 AUD
A new line of motherboards have also been released by all major manufactures targeting a mainstream price point. Unlike the K-series models for the Intel Skylake, these models come with the stock Intel CPU cooler so you don’t have to purchase a third party one. You will still need DDR4 memory however for the new chipsets.
