Konami have announced that a patch released for PlayStation 4 and PC versions of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has fixed the major save corruption bug to do with the use of Quiet in two specific missions.

The bug, which was reported on September 8th, related to having Quiet as a buddy while playing Mission 29 or Mission 42 and caused saved data to become corrupted.

The patch that fixes the bug has been released for PlayStation 4 and PC now, with the fix for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Xbox One versions of the game fixed internally as final testing is underway before distribution.
