Mindfreak Rainbow Six has secured a spot at the upcoming Six Invitational 2018 in Montreal after defeating Team CryptiK 2-1.

The first match of the weekend saw Singaporeans Team CryptiK against the Korean Mantis FPS as both teams fight for a spot in the grand final match-up against Aussie team, Mindfreak. Team CryptiK triumphs over Mantis FPS taking both maps and winning the series.

After knocking Mantis FPS out, the team had their sights on Mindfreak in the Grand Final securing map one 5-3 over the Aussies. With a loss upfront, Mindfreak bounced back with a steam roll on map two going 5-0 against Team CryptiK. With one more map to go, Mindfreak takes the victory 5-3 with ex-Corvidae player RizRaz ending the series with this double kill.

Mindfreak will now be travelling to Montreal, Canada to compete in the Six Invitational 2018 which features a total of $500,000 USD in prize pool. The event kicks off from 13th February 2018 and will see teams such as PENTA Sports, Elevate and eiNs playing.
