Microsoft has revealed the Xbox One Elite Console Bundle which features a 1TB Solid State Hybrid Drive (SSHD) and the new Xbox Elite Controller.
The SSHD addition means the console will perform faster ‘20% according to Microsoft’ so loading times would definitely get the benefit out of this. With pricing of SSHDs quite affordable these days, it’s a great move by Microsoft to add this type of drive out of the box.
The PS4 console does support SSHDs but you’ll have to install it yourself. No local Australia pricing yet on the new Elite Xbox One but we’ll update this post once we get details.
Update: Local Australian price confirmed $599 AUD. The console will be available from 6th November, 2015
